In May 2007 we began our fourth term with OMF-Philippines-International.
|
Like last term, we are loaned by OMF to the Biblical Seminary of the Philippines (BSOP), to teach and mentor students there.
Jay is teaching Missions, Hermeneutics, and New Testament. Amor is teaching Christian Education and English.
Here is a summary of 375% growth in the BSOP enrollment while we have been at BSOP, from 2002 to 2009.
We live in a small apartment in one of the dormitories so as to be available to disciple, mentor, and counsel students. We are finding our ministries here at BSOP to be very fulfilling.

In April, 2004 Amor completed her Master of Arts in Christian Education at Asian Theological Seminary (ATS) and enrolled in the Doctor of Education program of the Asian Graduate School of Theology. She was invited by ATS to teach Christian Education classes beginning in November 2004. She enjoyed teaching and mentoring students at ATS, though it is challenging to balance that with her BSOP involvement and her studies. She recently wrote about her ATS ministry. So far on our fourth term, she is concentrating on teaching at BSOP.

After our third term, from May 2002 to June, 2006, we moved back to the USA for 11 months of Home Assignment, representing OMF in various churches and groups.
