Dear Prayer Partner,
Jay asked some BSOP students, “How will you use your break (Dec.19, 2005 to Jan. 3, 2006)?” Interesting answers! (Above)
In December, all of Amor's brothers and sisters were able to get together at the same time and place for the first time since we were married. Twice! The first was for a niece's wedding. Then we got together again for a family Christmas dinner, where Jay gave a short evangelistic message to the 50 who were there. Joy!
Except for the few days off for the family gatherings, we have studied, graded papers, and prepared for the term that begins on January 4. We would like to say we have it all done, but we haven't. Perseverance!
Our thoughts are focused on helping our students become more like Christ in this New Year. Jay will teach three heavy courses this new term. Amor has a hard doctoral class beginning on Jan. 16. We both have lots to do with our studies and mentoring students. Opportunity!
Happy New Year!
Happy (Chinese) New Year (Jan. 29),
Jay and Amor
