Evans (background)</div> <div> with Jay's brother-in-law and sister (left) last July.</div> <bR> <div> Dear Prayer Partner, </div> <bR> <div> Seeing: a bear, a 10-point buck, foxes, elk, mountain goats, big horned</div> <div> sheep, hummingbirds darting for our coffee, beautiful sunsets.</div> <bR> <div> Laughing: during board games, in the car, while telling stories, at </div> <div> picnics, during walks.  </div> <bR> <div> Weeping: at memorial services of church friends.</div> <bR> <div> Remembering: 50 years of marriage for Jay's parents; how nieces and </div> <div> nephews so quickly change; what happened to various church people.</div> <bR> <div> RECONNECTING with Jay's family, our home church, and OMF filled July and</div> <div> early August to overflowing.  Thank you for praying for that last month!</div> <div> We are not yet done!  In August and September we plan to continue making</div> <div> memories.  Our focus will be on RECONNECTING and ministering to these</div> <div> three groups of people:</div> <bR> <div> 1.     Amor's family.  A nephew of Amor will get married in Chicago on Aug.</div> <div> 19.  We plan to drive there from Denver to enjoy this important family</div> <div> time.  Amor's sister plans to give us a nice treat afterwards.  We will</div> <div> travel with her and her 17 year old son to Quebec, Nova Sco-tia, Boston,</div> <div> and New York City.  We have never been to any of these.  So we are really</div> <div> ex-cited about making memories with Amor's family in those new (to us)</div> <div> places.</div> <bR> <div> 2.     Our home church, First Denver Friends Church.  In September we will be</div> <div> participating in a series of home meetings to say "thank you" to those who</div> <div> give and pray for us.  We will also have a part in the Missions Month</div> <div> beginning at the end of September.</div> <bR> <div> 3.     Other Colorado prayer partners and supporters.  Mostly individual and</div> <div> small groups, we expect to make lots of phone calls and personal visits in</div> <div> September.</div> <bR> <div> May God use our RECONNECTING, reporting, and traveling to generate the</div> <div> prayers, new missionary candidates, and funds needed to continue the</div> <div> urgent evangelization of the billions of unreached peoples in East Asia. </div> <bR> <div> Holding on to His faithfulness,</div> <div> Jay and Amor</div> <bR> <div> Please pray: </div> <div> - for students to finish the First Quarter well at BSOP.  Final exams are</div> <div> Sept. 5-6. </div> <div> - for faculty and students at BSOP to have a good break so that</div> <div> they can begin the Second Quarter well on Sept. 25.</div> <bR> <bR> <div> We (right) enjoyed a stop at beautiful Summit Lake (12,830 feet or 3911</div> <div> meters above sea level) after reaching the top of Mt.
