Each year, Jay takes his Urban Missions class on Field Trips to different squatter areas and/or to ministries and churches working with the urban poor or urban marginalized.  Here are links to pages with some photos of these field or mission trips.
Several of Jay's Urban Missions classes lived and ministered in a squatter area called Payatas.  

Payatas is near a huge garbage dump.

In August 2008, we had a really helpful trip to a nearby depressed area where a ministry called CCT works.

Our August 2008 Prayer letter is focused on our trip to live with squatters in a place called Malabon.
