Dear Prayer Partner,
The mother and sister of one of our BSOP faculty colleagues were brutally murdered recently. Her family is a mix of Christians and non-Christians.
At the graveside service, above, family members (background) dressed in white and wore headbands to indicate their relationship to the deceased.
In the foreground are Daoist priestesses dressed in brown. The Daoist priestesses´ prayer, incense, and dance with the gongs were colorful, noisy, aromatic, and dramatic. Jay also prayed as a Christian part of the graveside service.
Please continue to pray that we, our students, and our graduates be wise, caring, bold, and effective witnesses to Jesus as we meet such Chinese non-Christians.

Dear Prayer Partner,
Seminary students! Students being trained to become workers. Teaching and mentoring these students. To reach the Chinese in the Philippines and China. And beyond. For His glory!
This is what we have been sent to do and why we were sent to do it. Thank you for helping to send us here to teach and mentor seminary students. The process of teaching and mentoring seminary students feels ordinary. Preparing lesson plans. Using the plans. Grading. Listening. Helping sort out issues. Praying. Counseling. And so on.
We cannot figure out how to photograph or tell stories about teaching and mentoring seminary students that are interesting and which do not violate confidences. We work hard at teaching and mentoring students. God is at work! These potential workers are turning into skilled and godly workers
for the harvest. PTL!
More than a billion Chinese do not yet know the Lord Jesus Christ. More workers are needed!
This explains why we are excited about 49 BSOP students graduating, Lord willing, on March 29. Workers trained for the harvest!
This is why we ask you to pray even now for 50-60 new seminary students to replace those who graduate, for the new school year beginning in June. Workers to be trained for the harvest!
And, this is why we ask for your prayers for our `ordinary´ teaching and mentoring of these students. With your partnership, by God´s grace, we hope for an extraordinary harvest!
Because our Triune God is extraordinary!
