Dear Prayer Partner,
Question: What do the following have in common? Ministry to different cultural minorities & tribes. Teaching and mentoring seminary students. Chinese ministry. Reaching the Japanese. Church planting. Mission leadership & management. Student ministry. Teaching missionary children. Urban poor ministry. Ministry to children.
Answer: These are some of the ministries in which OMF missionaries, including us, are scattered around the Philippines to do. All are important, demanding, and exhausting ministries. Scattered and diverse ministries, along with our different nationalities and personalities, can isolate and divide us OMF missionaries.
On April 30 to May 3, OMF missionaries based in the northern Philippines, including us, will gather at an OMF Conference. The goals of the conference are to refresh tired missionaries and to provide opportunities for fellowship, mutual encouragement, and expression of our unity in Christ. Would you please pray for us and our OMF colleagues each of these days that God meet these conference goals both in and through us? Thank you for your prayers!
Because only the triune God really refreshes and unites,
Jay and Amor
Answered Prayer (April Prayer Letter)
The April BSOP curriculum meeting and faculty development workshop were fine, along with our other April activities. We keep on `sawing´, so our `saws´ continually need `sharpening´. Thank you for praying!
