It is great to be met at the airport after a long, but safe, trip. Thank you, those who met us! Thank you, Lord! (Photo credit to Mr. Dudley Holloman, our brother-in-law, who met us at an airport on May 11, 2011.)

Jesus said, "Truly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or lands, for my sake and for the gospel, who will not receive a hundredfold now in this time... with persecutions, and in the age to come eternal life." (Mark 10:29-30 ESV)
Dear Prayer Partner,
Moving from the Philippines to the USA on May 4 was the biggest recent event in our lives. Moving has its share of hassles and effort. Spiritually, though, this move has helped us to be grateful for how many families He has given us.
Our families in the Philippines gave us gracious farewells, mixed with sadness at our leaving for a year:
1. Our seminary faculty and staff family affirmed how much we contributed to them and to the seminary.
2. Our OMF-Philippines missionary family gave great prayer and moral support.
3. Amor´s literal family was (and is) very encouraging.
4. Our students thanked us for all they learned from us.
Two of our families in the U.S.A. have already given us wonderful welcomes after our four-year absence (thank you!):
1. Our home church has done much to set us up in an apartment for this year. Reunions with church members at the airport and then on our first Sundays were joyous!
2. Jay´s literal family was (and is) very hospitable. A reunion at a nephew´s college graduation was a particular highlight.
We look forward to the rich experience of catching up with more of our families in the U.S.A. in the next eleven months. Thank you ahead of time for welcoming us to your group, church, and/or family.
Please pray for God to:
1) use our time meeting you (and others!) for our mutual encouragement and mutual participation in what God is calling all of us to do; and,
2) guide us in planning and scheduling all of these meetings, the next big thing for us.
Mobilizing for the ministry of teaching and mentoring Asian seminary students, for the urgent evangelization of East Asia´s billions, for God´s glory,
Jay and Amor
