Amor at BSOP
Besides speaking to the 50 youth at the Gerizim Evangelical Church Youth Camp, March 20-22, 2008, Amor (left) counseled campers and led this small group in Bible study and discussion.
Amor began teaching Creative Bible Teaching at BSOP in September 2007. The course ended in December.

Ignoring the boxes just to the right, Amor (left) and Thata have a Bible study. Thata, who sometimes helps us with household chores, had been unclear if she really was a Christian or not. We rejoice that she prayed to accept Jesus as her Lord and Savior after a series of Bible studies with Amor last week. Now she is sure! PTL!

Amor (second from right) helps to serve cake after a farewell service. By June 5, Lord-willing, we will have finished our farewells, work, packing, etc., and will climb on an airplane to fly to the USA.
Amor loves to pray! Taken in May or June 2005, here she prays with one of the administrative staff at BSOP. On any given day you can catch her praying with faculty wives, lady students, workers, visitors, etc.

Amor loves to teach! This photo was actually taken at a workshop she led for the teachers at the Palawan Hope Christian School in May, 2005.
While she has also taught several Christian Education classes at the Asian Theological Seminary, we have failed to get good photos of her there.
She has been invited to teach more, but finds her doctoral studies very time consuming and draining. Two seminaries have already invited her to teach full time upon completion of her doctorate!

Amor graduated, with a Master of Arts in Christian Education, from Asian Theological Seminary on April 2, 2004. This does not mean she is finished studying, since she is enrolled in a Doctor of Education program at the Asia Graduate School of Theology. (Photo used in our March 2004 Prayer Letter)

On December 20, 2003 Leah suddenly died at age 22 of a rare disease. She was a first-year student at BSOP and one of the ladies Amor was mentoring. We were all shocked and saddened. (Photo used in our January 2004 Prayer Letter)

Marie, a High School student who lives in our neighborhood, became a Christian a few months ago in a Bible study with Amor. Amor continues to meet with her for continued Bible Study. Photo taken: July, 2003

Amor finds our spare bedroom/study a good place to study. She continues to study part-time, both finishing a master's degree in Christian education at Asian Theological Seminary and having begun a Doctor of Education program at the Asian Graduate School of Theology.
Besides reaching out to the Filipino employees at BSOP, Amor mentors a number of female students each week.

Amor meets with Marinel regularly in our dining area for a Bible Study.
Please pray for Amor to have wisdom as she disciples each of her ladies.
