Dear Prayer Partner,
We rejoiced to receive the news about our support for last year, 2004. We received 92% of what was needed, our highest ever. Please thank the Lord with us.
OMF continues to expect our support to reach 100%. As you know, we in OMF do not solicit funds or ask people to give. But, we do inform prayer partners like you of our support level. We do ask you to pray that God would provide 100% support for 2005. Thank you for your partnership and prayers.
On March 20 BSOP will graduate 15 students. It is always exciting to see the students whom we have poured so much into completing their requirements, meeting the standards of the seminary, and moving on to fulfill their calls. Ten of these students will be going to various parts of Asia. Five will be scattering around the Philippines.
Please join us in praying for all the graduating students as they adjust to life after seminary. More importantly, please pray for each to be effective in the outreaches, ministries, and churches to which God is calling them.
The end of the school year is stressful for faculty like us. Please pray for God to give us the stamina we need to grade papers and projects fairly and in ways that help the students to learn. We also need wisdom and strength to say goodbye in wholesome ways to these students we have loved, taught, and mentored for three years. We do plan to take a vacation after graduation.
Happy Easter! He is Risen Indeed!

A photo of one of Jay's student, a medical doctor, treating a sick child in Payatas on Jay's Urban Mission class mission trip Feb. 4-6, 2005 was deleted due to security reasons. Photos of Payatas may be found here. The caption of the photo was:
Jay's class mobilized 4 additional doctors, 7 dentists, and a pharmacist who treated 359 patients who could not otherwise afford medical or dental treatment.
This was only one aspect of the mission trip. Jay's students also helped to build a house for a poor family, befriended many, shared the gospel, and led different outreaches to adults, teenagers and children. It was a great, though exhausting, learning experience for his students.
Thank you for your prayers for this and our other requests during the busy but fruitful month of February!
